MOUNTAIN CHALET SLIEZSKY DOM UNDER GERLACH***

In the hotel there is restaurant A la Carte with fire-place which offers rich choice of meals, beverages and wines. Restaurant has a capacity of 70 seats.
Then hotel provides a self-service restaurant and a daily bar.
Self-service restaurant offers fastfood, ready to serve meals, soups, beverages and extras.
Daily bar with a capacity of 40 seats offers an abillity of pleasant day or night refreshment with its rich choice of hot and cold drinks.
Bar and restaurant may be also used as conference rooms. For private reasons hotel has a saloon with 10 seats.
Our guests can enjoy a summer terrace sitting with a wonderful view of Velicka dolina and mountain surrounding.
Mountain Guide Club is the last but very charming room of the hotel. It offers a real mountain room atmostphere with a burning fire-place and a rich offer of hot and cold drinks, meals and fast food.

Our guests may get professional moutain guides straight at our hotel. We offer 3 and 5 day packets of our services to make our clients´stay pleasant and comfortable. Our trek packets include advantageous prices of accommodation, catering, treks to surrounding peaks with a proffessional mountain guide to know the beauty of High Tatras.

- trek to the highest peak of High Tatras, Gerlach, 2655m (trek starts straight at the hotel), only with a mountain guide
- trek to peak Bradavica 2476m (trek starts straight at the hotel), only with a mountain guide

Our hotel prepares also special events as weddings, graduations, business seminars, conferences, reconditional stays and other special offers for appropriate prices. At the dinner our guests may enjoy Goral or Gipsy music.
Other facilities available at the hotel are table games, biliard, table football, darts. Guests may rent iron or hair drier or buy some typical Slovak souvenirs.

Mountain chalet Sliezsky dom under Gerlach*** connects natural and human features and makes a place of comfort, relax and hiking.
Hotel is built in Velicka valley at Velicke pleso, 1670m above the sea. You can ascent the highest peak of High Tatras, Gerlach, straight from the hotel.
Gerlach peak ( 2 645 m) is not only the highest peak of Slovakia, it is also the highest peak of the Carpaths. The Carpathian range is 1300 km long and starts at the Hundsheim mountains on right bank of river Danube (in Austria) and ends in Danube Canyon at Zelezne vrata (in Romania).
Velicka dolina (Velicka valley) is south open, 5,5 km long, terraced valley.
In the east there is Bradavica peak and it divides Velicka dolina from Velka Studena dolina. In the north and norhwest is Velicka dolina cut off the highest peak of High Tatras, Gerlach and in the west the great massive of Gerlach peak. On the right side of valley tourists can see peak - Granatove veze, Granatove steny and Bradavica. In the end of Velicka dolina there are peaks of Vychodna Vysoka, Velicky peak and Gerlach. In the middle of Velicka valley, next to Velicke pleso, there is our mountain chalet, Sliezsky dom, situated.
The south and the north of this valley are connected with the green trek mark and the west and the east connects the red mark.

How you can get to chalet Sliezsky dom:
- by the green mark from Tatranska Polianka (2hrs)
- by the red mark from Hrebienok (2hrs)
- by the yellow mark and then the green mark from Stary Smokovec (4 hrs)
- by the red mark from Popradske Pleso (daylong tour)
- by the blue mark from Lysa Polana (daylong tour)

The access to the hotel is by the 7 km long road from Tatranska Polianka.
In summer our guests can use a small hotel carpark, next to the hotel, for the price 300.- Sk / day or they can use our transport from/to Tatranska Polianka by our jeep.
The price is 750.- Sk for a person or 150.- Sk for 1 person if there are more than 5 persons in the car.
In winter season we are the one who provide transport by the snow vehicle Kässbohrer, transport price is 2900.- Sk / 10 persons, or by snowscooter 1200.- Sk/ 2 persons.
